How to Type Korean on Your Computer
Follow the instructions below for your operating system to set up Korean keyboard input.
macOS (Built-in Korean Input)
- 1Open System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS).
- 2Go to Keyboard > Input Sources > Edit.
- 3Click the "+" button to add a new input source.
- 4Search for "Korean" and select "2-Set Korean" (the standard layout).
- 5Click "Add" to enable it.
- 6Use the input source menu in the menu bar (or press Control + Space / Globe key) to switch to Korean.
- 7You can now type Hangul in any app. Press the Caps Lock key to toggle between Korean and English.
